Projects being completed transparently: CM
LAHORE - Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the ruthless plundering and looting of national resources by PPP in the name of democracy during the last four years, is unprecedented in the history of Pakistan.
He said that national institutions are at the verge of disaster while people are facing tribulations of unemployment, poverty and loadshedding due to wrong policies of the federal government. The CM said this while addressing PML-N workers in London.
According to a handout issued on Wednesday, Shahbaz said that under a conspiracy of federal government, Punjab is being badly tortured through acute loadshedding due to which industries, factories and mills are closing down their business while workers are becoming jobless. Shahbaz said that the federal government is setting new records of corruption and mismanagement due to which national economy and institutions are weakening.
He said that development projects in Punjab were being executed in a transparent manner and the provincial government by completion of uplift projects in a minimum time period has fulfilled its promises to the masses. He said that remarkable economic development was made in both the tenures of Nawaz Sharif and such projects were initiated which were model for other countries of the region. He said the PML-N government after coming into power would resolve the problems being faced by the country as it has the ability to cope with the crises. He said that public service is not on the agenda of PPP government as its sole interest is loot and plunder of national resources.
He said that the tales of corruption of the rulers are echoing even at international level but the rulers are unmoved. He said this situation would not last for long and the ruling gang would have to account for its misdeeds.
